Winner, 2011-2012 Best Family Musical to Open at Riverside Theater July 7, 2012
(Atlanta, Ga) –StinkyKids The Musical, the award-winning live theatrical production based on the characters and themes of the book series, StinkyKids, has announced it will debut at the Riverside Theater on July 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. The Off-Broadway Alliance named StinkyKids The Musical Best Family Show for the 2011-2012 season. The musical, which debuted March 10, 2012 has garnered incredible reviews from parents, theater critics and bloggers alike. The additional performances will take place at Riverside Theater located at 91 Claremont Avenue at 120th Street in New York City. The performances are scheduled each Saturday at 1:00 p.m. July 7, 2012 through September 6, 2012.

Program synopsis: StinkyKid Britt never gets into trouble and loves making everyone happy! She’s convinced her parents to take her friends, Max, Hannah, Jen, Johnny and Billy to the opening of the new MegaJumper 3000. But when Britt gets a massive wad of gum stuck in her hair, she must rely on her friends to help her get out of a sticky situation before her parents find out and cancel the trip.

StinkyKids The Musical is directed by Tim Drucker. The books and lyrics are by Sammy Buck, and music is composed by Daniel S. Acquisto.
